The Challenge
Carrera Partners were briefed at 3pm Friday for a contracting position with a Monday start. The line manager was pressed for time, so there was no formal position description. In fact, the brief was just two lines long.

We knew the environment inside out, so we had a very good idea of the skill level required and the type of cultural fit the client would value. Because we knew the nature of the work they do, we were able to read between the lines and create a good working brief. We have a number of candidates that we place on a regular basis, so we had a large pool of talent with proven track records that were suitable. Even with the deadline, the client was able to choose between a very good shortlist.
The Success
We continue to work exclusively with this client and have a 1:1 referral to placement ratio. All of the contractors we have placed have had their assignments extended, often doubled or tripled in length.
